SFUSD application information

Please encourage all applicants to use the District's new Online Application for 2021-22. The application will open on October 26, and the deadline will be February 5th. The Online Application will be accessible through ParentVue at portal.sfusd.edu or sfusd.edu/onlineapp . Paper applications will also be available in the lobby at 555 Franklin Street for those who are unable to access the internet. Letters with instructions for accessing the Online Application will be mailed to all transitional grade students in SFUSD in a few days. Also, please encourage families to attend the SFUSD Virtual Enrollment Fair taking place November 6-13th. Links for all the workshops and individual school town hall meetings will be posted at sfusd.edu/virtual-fair-2020. To those of you at private/parochial/independent schools, please direct your families with these instructions for the Online application: 1. If the family has another student already attending an SFUSD school, the parent should sign into their existing ParentVue account at portal.sfusd.edu . They will be able to add a new student to their account once logged in. 2. If the family has EVER applied for the student in the past, even if the student never attended or even if they only applied years ago for Kindergarten, they already have an existing ParentVue account. They should NOT create a new one. Creating a new ParentVue account attached to an existing student creates an error that will prevent the parent from being able to monitor the status of their application. They can obtain their ParentVue activation code by emailing onlineapps@sfusd.edu, enrollinschool@sfusd.edu, familylink@sfusd.edu or by calling 415-241-6085 or 415-241-6000. They should provide their child's full name and date of birth. Once they have their activation code, they will activate their account and sign in at portal.sfusd.edu . 3. If the family has NEVER applied for any student to attend SFUSD, they can access the application at sfusd.edu/onlineapp and click "Create New Account"

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Sacred Heart Cathedral, in collaboration with all other Catholic High Schools in the Archdiocese of San Francisco, will host all Fall and Winter events virtually. School Presentations: School day presentations give students and parents the opportunity to hear about SHC firsthand. We are available to meet with classes throughout the fall, and welcome the opportunity to introduce them to SHC via Zoom.
